This will make the cost of purchasing property a little less and the cost of selling a property a little more. There will be various agents who will be providing these Home Information Packs (HIPs) to members of the public who wish to sell their property, making life easier for the Estate Agents, Purchasing Solicitors and for you. The Law Society are estimating the cost of a Home Information Pack to be £850 - £1000, which will include all the fees for searches and all services provided by third parties and the HIP provider.
